You can feel confident when about 25% vegetable oil 75% diesel. In addition, the fuel is too thick for the pump when the engine is cold. Even at 25%, there is a danger that the fuel gelling in cold weather.

Vegetable oil, conversion or not, tend to form deposits on injectors. You need the budget for a new set of injectors from time to time.

Just get the conversion kit [Bio-diesiel neighboring school district used for some time but had to stop because of problems of the injection pump in cold weather, I think they now use a combination of the cold season about 70% 30% bio diesel. [Bombs to their buses are controlled electronically.]

The problem with pure vegetable oil is that it is much more viscous and less volatile than diesel fuel. The viscosity means it could weigh on injection pumps, especially in cold weather, it would be viscous.

Another problem that the engine can run hard to make cold, because fuel is so volatile that it is not relevant enough in the exhaust. Firebox.

There are other difficulties, whether the engine is direct or indirect, etc. You can get carbon engine damage problem when the engine is the wrong kind of injection.

Finally, unless you are cooking get oil that should be filtered and purified vegetable oil is more expensive in most cases than diesel.

You leave without conversion, if you run something like 10% vegetable oil 90% diesel fuel. Even then, it could be some problems after some time. Alternatively, the use of bio-diesel, which is chemically processed vegetable oil.

Of course not, not to mention that the engine block to kill, fuel lines, which do not have the right equipment for the oil filter, not just oil, fuel.

You can, but over time could cause problems due to oil viscosity and contamination. If you make sure that the oil filter system very well and vegie run a mix of diesel, say 30% of diesel, you often need with the existing parts - changing the fuel filter.
